Lots of gigs to catch up on folks…here is a run-down of our run-up to Christmas…

Old Thorns, Liphook

A very sparkly Christmas gig in Hampshire. We’ve played here many times now over the years and really enjoy playing here. Why, I hear you ask? Well, for a start, we always get fed really well…

And there’s a great supply of puddings…

Although we’re not normally allowed any! It was a great night though, although Maurice did muck up ‘Words’ as he was watching what the lady was doing with Barry’s tambourine and not concentrating! She’d had way too much to drink. A very sparkly back drop to the stage…but the DJ looks a bit goulish!

Oakengates Theatre, Telford

Hadn’t been here for a while…smashing theatre and it bought back some fond memories! And it has a lift! Saves us carrying all our gear up all those steps…little things…

Anyhow, as I said, the theatre is lovely…this is what it looks like empty – and yes, there were more people in these seats when we started!

Huntingdon Hall, Worcester

No pictures from this one I’m afraid – but it was a great gig nonetheless! Although we were battling the street market as well this weekend…we saw the hoardes of coaches turning up and thought they’d all come to see us!!!

Mr Kyps, Poole

We love this gig – always a superb crowd and a great Chinese before we go on! We weren’t disappointed either again this time with a fab sweet and sour chicken and rice – beautiful! Robin had a few problems with his hair this time though…

Theatre on the Steps, Bridgnorth

Two nights at this fab little theatre this year – and very eventful they were! For those of you that don’t know it, it’s, well, on some steps! 70-odd of them in total…looks like something out of a Dickens novel…

And carrying all the gear down these steps, in the rain, was only the start…

It was one of those ‘can go wrong, will go wrong’ nights – everything did! Robin’s amp wouldn’t work, cables and leads played up, mikes gave off electric shocks, mixing desks were very noisy…we didn’t get sound checked until 7-50 – and we were due on at 8! In the end though they were two fantastic nights… a great way to finish our tour for 2011.

Our new (ish) drummer struggled to get here the first night as well though…said he couldn’t fit all his gear in his new car…

And Robin was still having trouble with his hair…

From all of us in Bee Gees Fever…Happy New Year! Have a great 2012 – we hope you’ll come to see us again!

It's Time to Say Goodbye...

Sadly, Bee Gees Fever have had to call it a day. We have loved the last 23 years and we would like to say a big 'thank you' to all of you who have supported us.
