Well, that’s it now. Saturday saw the last gig by Lance, our super Cockney drummer. The Bee Gees Fever gig at the Robin 2, Bilston, was the culmination of nearly 6 years of highs for our latest skin-basher.

Since his first gig way back in October 2005, barrow-boy Lance has provided the rock-steady beat which has accompanied Bee Gees Fever gigs all across Europe. But not any longer. After much consideration, Lance has decided to hang up his sticks and leave the band. And we’re very sorry to see him go. He helped to elevate Bee Gees Fever to the band they are today, building on the foundations laid previously. Alongside Keith, our much-maligned bass player, Lance provided the disco drive for our set.

His last gig with us was a great night (not because it was our last one with him though!) and the crowd at the Robin 2 were subjected to a fantastic night of Bee Gees hits.

As the night came to a close, we embarrassed our departing drummer with a few well-chosen words and a couple of gifts for him to remember us by:

So there you have it…

…and another chapter begins. We have a new drummer practising the set as we speak (see Lance, we don’t need you anymore anyway!) . He’ll be ready (or else!) for our next gig in September; check our calendar on the front page for details.

See you all very soon!

It's Time to Say Goodbye...

Sadly, Bee Gees Fever have had to call it a day. We have loved the last 23 years and we would like to say a big 'thank you' to all of you who have supported us.
